Several cases have been registered against Manish for sharing on social media fake videos of alleged attacks on migrant workers from Bihar in Tamil Nadu.

Giving information about this on Twitter, the Bihar Police said that Manish Kashyap, accused in Economic Offenses Station Case No. 3/23 and 4/23, has been arrested for circulating false, misleading and hysterical videos for the residents of Bihar working in Tamil Nadu. Due to the raid of Bihar Police and EOU, surrendered at Jagdishpur police station in Bettiah.

They were investigated after videos related to incidents of violence against people from Bihar living in Tamil Nadu were circulated.

State's Economic Offenses Unit during investigation came to know that an atmosphere of fear is being created among the public by deliberately and systematically putting misleading, rumour-mongering and provocative photos/videos/text messages etc., causing law and order problems. is likely to happen.

According to the information received from the headquarters, a total of 30 such videos and posts have been identified and the Economic Offenses Unit has registered Section-153, 153 (A), 153 (B), 505 (1) (B), 505 (1) of the IPC. (C), 468, 471 and 120 (B) and under Section 67 of the Information Technology Act, a case was registered on Sunday. 

It has been said that officers of the level of Deputy Superintendent of Police are investigating these cases.

In this case, police have arrested Aman Kumar while registering an FIR against Digghi resident Aman Kumar, Rakesh Tiwari alias Prayas News, Twitter user Yuvraj Singh Rajput and Manish Kashyap, director of YouTube channel Sachtak News, under Laxmipur police station of Jamui district.

Police has found evidence in many objectionable posts and mobile from Aman, which is being further investigated.

In the course of investigation and research, it was found that a video circulated was of someone being hanged after killing him.

Verification and investigation revealed that this is an old incident of someone's suicide, which is not related to any person living in Bihar.

Similarly, the second video circulated is also related to the old incident.

This video is about a personal dispute between a person from Jharkhand and a person from Bihar.

This incident has also not been found to be related to any person from Tamil Nadu.

According to the Bihar Police Headquarters, it appears that people of criminal tendency are also involved behind the above untrue, misleading and hysterical videos and posts.

A preservation notice was issued by the Economic Offenses Unit in connection with nine misleading posts on Facebook, 15 on Twitter, 15 on YouTube and three on Gmail so that complete evidence of related links and disputed reports can be secured and duly processed in the course of research. action can be taken.
