The Board of Directors of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) approved new rules for lending to countries facing exceptionally high uncertainty.

This rule will allow Ukraine to provide support under this program.

According to APA, Bloomberg reported on this with reference to the official statement of the organization.

The IMF has reportedly approved the changes, which will allow the fund to help countries facing "extraordinarily high uncertainty."

Such an action will provide support to the Ukrainian side in the amount of about 15 billion dollars.

The document emphasizes that the changes will also apply to situations related to exogenous shocks that are beyond the control of the authorities and remove the main obstacles to programming in these countries.
