The National Security and Defense Council has imposed sanctions against more than 400 individuals and companies.

Most of them are Russian.

In particular, these are the armed forces of terrorist states, as well as Iranian and Syrian individuals who help Russian terror.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyi said this in his traditional video address in the evening of March 18.

The head of state assured that each such sanctioning step is carefully worked out.

"Ukrainian sanctions are part of the global pressure on Russia. All those who produce weapons for terror against Ukraine, who help Russia incite aggression, in particular by supplying Shahedi, who support Russia's destruction of international law, can only be marginal for the world. Those who will eventually be brought to justice for everything they do against our people, against people in general, against international law," Zelenskyy said.

According to him, the responsibility will relate not only to terror against Ukrainians and attempts to annex our land, but also to other aggressions of Russia against the international order.

In particular, on the territory of Syria.

"The people of Syria did not receive adequate international protection, and this gave the Kremlin and its accomplices a sense of impunity. Russian bombs destroyed Syrian cities in the same way as our Ukrainian cities. It is in this impunity that a large part of the Kremlin's current aggressiveness lies," the president is convinced.

Zelensky is certain: when the Ukrainian people defend themselves, and the UN Charter is restored in Ukraine, it will guarantee peace for many other parts of the world.
