At the beginning of the full-scale war,

the singer

Olya Polyakova asked her mother Svitlana to leave the aggressor country, because she was worried about her safety.

Mrs. Svitlana did not delay long and still left Russia.

In an interview with Ramina Eshakzai, Polyakova told where her mother is now.

"My mother lived there in a relationship until May. She had to leave because of me. I told her: "You can't stay there.

It is impossible.

You are there with me like a hostage." I constantly thought about how they would want to put pressure on me. In May, she left for me in France, left her new boyfriend in the Russian Federation. This is also a tragic story for her," Polyakova shared.

However, the family still had one more unresolved issue in Russia, because they still had a large house there.

"We had a house there. Just recently we sold it. We sold it for 15 percent of its value. It was a very nice, elite house, in a nice area, with a forest. It's a shame that we couldn't take at least the funds that they invested in it. But they just sold it, because it was necessary to get rid of this real estate in order not to have anything to do with Russia. That's why there is no real estate in Russia anymore," Polyakova said.

We will remind, the other day Olya Polyakova gave the first solo concert

during the full-scale war

with a Ukrainian-language program and new songs.
