Zeng Minnan remembered that the wind direction was not very good that day. He was in charge of the west garrison and asked the officers and soldiers to monitor the opposite bank from the combat readiness position.

He said that our warships come and go quickly, and the warships leave as soon as they receive the sick brothers.

After the warship left for a period of time, the island's combat readiness was lifted, and it didn't take long to rush to build a helipad.

Please read on...

Captain Liu Shutai, who was not chaotic in the face of danger, was decisive and clear: "At that time, we anchored quickly in the southwest waters on the leeward side of Daqiu. The anchor point only needs to have pulling force, and we can quickly lift the anchor and sail away. Except for the anchor position and the receiving personnel, the rest The personnel are in the combat part, and they leave after picking up the anchor. The movement is very fast, which also shows the results of the daily training of officers and soldiers.

After picking up the people, you should drive southward to Magong with the wind, and then change to drive northward to Keelung due to emergency.

The original nine-level wind and waves plus the ship's speed of sixteen to eighteen knots (about 29 to 33 kilometers per hour), the relative gust has reached ten-level wind and waves, and the sailing along the way is extremely thrilling.

The land command unit thought that we would not enter Keelung until six or seven o'clock in the morning due to the severe wind and waves, but we arrived at two o'clock in the middle of the night, four to five hours earlier, which also increased the recovery rate of patients.

I remember that in addition to the medical officers on the ship, there were also medical officers on the island who accompanied the ship to take care of them. After returning to the island, the medical officers on the island should tell the thrilling process of rescuing people at sea.

These are what our soldiers are willing and should do, but ordinary industries do not take such big risks as soldiers.

I really hope that our countrymen will give more encouragement and respect to active soldiers.

"

During the voyage, because most of the people were seasick, Chief Sergeant Jin was assigned to cook noodles for everyone.

Many partners in the Situation Room were seasick, and Sergeant Huang Guoxun, the squad leader, was in good condition. He was deeply afraid that if he collapsed, the Situation Room would collapse.

Combat Situation Radar Sergeant Huang Guoxun stayed in the Situation Room that day, watching the radar, positioning, and using the radio. Fortunately, everyone was well-trained on weekdays, and everyone survived.

He remembered the captain entering the situation room and telling him not to smoke.

He replied to the captain, "No, you will get seasick if you don't smoke." But the captain replied, "Okay, then I'll go out, you continue."

What Huang Guoxun finds funny is that from the execution of the mission to the end of returning to Hong Kong, he did not get seasick at all. He was on duty in the situation room during the whole process, and he worked hard to complete the mission.

But at the end of the mission to return to Hong Kong, he actually started to get seasick, and the combat situation officer went into the combat situation room and said, everyone has worked hard, you can go down and rest!

But he didn't move and started to get seasick and didn't dare to move at all. The task of returning to the port was completed, and the ship docked at the pier, but he was still seasick, so he had to stay in the situation room and dare not move. Everyone burst out laughing!

Huang Guoxun's impression of Wuqiu's mission is not only that.

The memory he said made me, who was born in Wuqiu, feel like a shock at sea.

He said: "That time I encountered an abnormally strong wind and waves, which had reached magnitude 13 or higher. I was standing on deck 01. The so-called deck 01 is the floor above the main deck, which is already the height of the second floor. Imagine me Standing on the side of the ship holding a steel cup, if I stretch out my hand, I can scoop up the sea water. See how it is shaking from side to side? It was the biggest storm I've ever encountered in my life, but there's nothing we can do because we've got an emergency order."

Li Biwei, a radar corporal in the 905 Situation Room of the Navy, served as a compulsory service and retired in 1976.

"At that time we only had honor in our hearts, saluting the great national army," he said.

Dong Yuwen said that the brothers on the outer islands were injured or sick, the weather was bad, and the air crew could not support them. Of course, the navy would not hesitate.

Lin Ermou also said that time flies so fast. Thirty-four years ago (the 72nd year of the Republic of China), the ship that was drawn after graduating from the military academy was the 838 Taishan warship. Although it was hard back then, everyone was in the same boat. The friendship of one life.

Seeing the high-spirited people in the old photos back then, although everyone is over fifty now, this service experience, I think everyone will remember it forever.

At that time, Xia Guangqing was the acting commander of the combat situation officer, and was assigned by the captain to be the navigation duty officer of "Wild Sky Deployment". He spent two-thirds of the time on the bridge, and the bridge was completely submerged in the sea. into port.

He still remembered seeing his brother wearing a kapok-style lifejacket and an inflatable lifejacket hanging around his waist, which showed that everyone was stressed and panicked at that time.

That voyage was also the biggest storm he encountered in his naval career, which is still fresh in his memory!

Johnny Lin said that they persevered to the end in the 13th-level storm. After returning to Hong Kong, a pile of equipment was damaged. Oil leaked in the middle of the hull and found cracks. Although everyone was exhausted and tired, the morale was "extremely stinky"!

When berthing, the personnel on board all the ships in the port area looked at them with surprised eyes and said, "It was really swept away by a strong station"!

Face friend Lin Houhuan left a message, the tragic navy is touching, the safety of dozens of brothers in the navy, to save the life of a brother; if the walrus is bad, accidents may happen to dozens of heroes, it is really impossible to think about it.

Chen Yutian described it as the Republic of China Navy version of "Saving Private Ryan".

Qiu Jinsheng, who used to be the deputy captain of the Jiuyi Ship, served in the navy for three times, and expressed his sincere tribute to Liu Shutai senior!

Seeing the responses of the brothers back then brought back more memories for Liu Shutai.

He said that at that time, the Taishan ship was fully loaded with about 2,000 tons. In order to reduce the risk in the severe wind and waves of Category 9, he ordered 180 officers and soldiers of the whole ship to enter the "wild sky deployment". This is also the only "wild sky deployment" in his naval career. ".

Liu Shutai explained that the navy's missions at sea are diverse, and there are many deployments to respond to; when there is an enemy track ready to engage in battle, it is called "preparation deployment"; when someone falls into the water while cruising, it is called "life-saving deployment"; When sailing in the sea with great force, the measures taken by the officers and soldiers of the ship to save the ship in the extremely dangerous wind and waves are called "Desolation Deployment".

"Bad weather deployment" is the Navy's response to extremely harsh walrus navigation.

The specific methods are:

˙Move the upper layer of movable items and equipment to the bottom layer first to increase the stability of the hull.

˙Complete the Class A safety protection for the large and small hatches (windows) to ensure watertightness.

˙Each part is divided into two shifts (normally three shifts), keeping an eye on equipment operation and collision avoidance at sea to ensure aviation safety.

˙Retirement personnel lie flat on the bed and use a belt to stabilize the waist to prevent falls and ensure safety.

˙Safety officers and chief inspectors inspect each part at least every half hour (usually every hour), and report all conditions to the bridge.

Soldiers have the belief of "death to complete the mission". During the one-day and one-night voyage, Liu Shutai was on the bridge, watching waves of waves being pierced by the bow of the ship, covering the entire bridge, and then the hull vibrated .

At that time, all he could think about was how to complete the task while ensuring the safety of the ship and officers and soldiers, and how to send the critical brothers to Keelung Port safely.

Liu Shutai said: "The duty of a soldier is to make sacrifices and dedicate themselves to defending the country. What we want is not much, but a sense of accomplishment for accomplishing the mission and the respect that society deserves."

Liu Shutai thanked the navy for its education and training, and thanked the country for giving him this opportunity to gallop across the sea and territory with a group of outstanding sea men to defend their home and country together.

He is also grateful for being able to stir up sparks with his old comrades in the lonely old age of retirement, and savor the fond memories of helping each other at sea 30 years ago and accomplishing the mission.

Liu Shutai said that the Navy has a "loyalty and military style", which is loyal to the country and has no hesitation for its comrades. It has been almost 30 years. The old comrades of the Taishan ship still keep in touch every day, and they set up a social club and gather every year. Once, this kind of revolutionary feeling between men who help each other and share life and death is not inferior to the boudoir friendship between female friends.
