Amit Shah said that if the investigating agencies are doing wrong then it can be challenged in the courts.

New Delhi:

Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday asserted that agencies like the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and the Enforcement Directorate (ED) were working fairly and barring only two, most of the cases being probed were under the previous United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government. were registered.

Shah said in the 'India Today Conclave' organized here that if the investigating agencies are doing wrong then it can be challenged in the courts.

Earlier used to say…there is no investigation

Amit Shah said, “During the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections held in 2017, a prominent woman leader of the Congress had said that if she is involved in corruption, why is there no investigation?

She was questioning us.

Now when action is being taken, they are making hue and cry.” The Union Home Minister said that these investigative agencies are not above the law and any notice, FIR and charge sheet can be challenged in the courts.

Shouldn't there be an investigation?

The Union Home Minister said, "Instead of going to the court, why are they shouting outside?"

I want to ask the public that if someone is accused of corruption, should he not be investigated?

All these cases except two were registered during his rule and not during our government.

Baseless allegations do not stand

on the question of investigation against Adani Group, Amit Shah said that the Supreme Court has formed a two-member committee of retired judges and everyone should go to them and submit whatever evidence they have.

He said, “If wrong has been done then no one will be spared.

Everyone should have faith in the judicial process.” Shah said that people should not make baseless allegations as they do not last long.
