In Kyiv, two men robbed a beauty salon on Pechersk.

This was reported by the communication department of the Kyiv police.

The police received a report of a theft from a beauty salon on Bastionnaya Street.

The investigation-operational group of the Pechersk Police Department and criminal police officers went to the indicated address.

The law enforcement officers found out that two unknown persons broke into the salon at night by prying open the metal-plastic window.

The intruders stole cosmetic preparations for injections and manicure equipment from the premises.

Thanks to video surveillance cameras, operatives quickly identified the suspects and arrested them within a few hours. 

They turned out to be natives of Kyiv Region and Donetsk Region, born in 1976 and 1973, who had previously been held criminally liable for similar crimes.

The police conducted an urgent search at the place of residence of the accused, from where physical evidence was seized.

The Investigative Department of the Pechersk Police Department has initiated criminal proceedings under Part 4 of Art.

185 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – theft committed under martial law.

The investigators announced to the intruders that they are suspected of committing a crime.

Both will be in custody during the investigation.

The sanction of the article provides up to eight years of imprisonment.
