A man who tried to illegally export an ancient book of the 17th century abroad will be tried in Kyiv region.

Its cost is more than 10 thousand US dollars.

This was reported by the press service of the Kyiv Regional Prosecutor's Office. 

"The pre-trial investigation established that the man tried to transport the ancient book of the 17th century "Prologue" to the territory of Poland," the message reads.

The violator was detained when he tried to cross the state border.

The book, which is of cultural value, was noticed during an inspection of the man's personal belongings.

He was going to transport her in a suitcase. 

The indictment on the fact of the completed attempt to smuggle cultural values ​​against a resident of Kyiv was referred to the court.
