The star of the film "Thor" took part in the charity event "Poetry for Every Day of the Year" last Friday, March 17.

The evening took place at the Royal National Theater of Great Britain in London.

From the stage, Hiddleston read a poem by the Ukrainian poet and musician Serhii Zhadan "Three years we talk about war", which was included in the poet's collection "Antenna" in 2018.

In order for the audience to understand it, the poem was translated into English.

Funds collected during the charity event will be transferred to the humanitarian needs of Ukraine.

Actors Aisa Butterfield, Sope Dirisu, Kate Fleetwood and Daria Plakhtiy also performed from the stage last evening.
