The Chief of the Army for Nation Building (JKT), Major General Rajabu Mabele, has asked young people to refrain from the use of drugs, including cannabis, as it will contribute to the termination of their contracts.

Major General Mabele has said this while concluding the Initial Military Training for the Youth Volunteers Operation General Venance Mabeyo in the Rwamkoma JKT force in the Mara region.

He says it is good for those young people who have completed initial military training to take care of their health and refrain from using drugs, including cannabis, as this mistake can make them terminate their contracts.

Major General Mabele has emphasized the young people to live the oath of obedience, loyalty and bravery and to develop the discipline of those trained because an undisciplined young man does not deserve to be given power.

In addition, Major General Malele has thanked the Government of the United Republic of Tanzania led by President Samia Suluhu Hassan for continuing to enable the army to conduct training for young Tanzanians.

And the Head of the Zanzibar Economic Development Force (JKU), Colonel Makame Daima has congratulated the young people for completing their training and asked them to go live their oath

Inviting the Head of JKT to give advice and conclude the training, the Head of Training Branch JKT Colonel Aisha Matanza has said that the young people have represented their peers in all the camps that conducted the training.

Giving information on the Training, the Commander of the Rwamkoma JKT Force, Lieutenant Colonel Gaudencia Mapunda has said

Youth Volunteers Operation General Venance Mabeyo was opened on November 28, 2022 in the JKT Camps that conducted the training that lasted 16 weeks.

The training began to be concluded at different times from March 7, 2023 until today, March 17, 2023. The Head of JKT has closed the exercise for the conclusion of the training.
