The loss of the city of Bakhmut could jeopardize the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine over other cities.

APA reports that Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba said this in an interview with the UK's BBC channel today.

He noted that the defense of Bakhmut is also very important from an emotional point of view, and the loss of the city can also cause a heavy moral blow: "We must fight as much as we can physically for the defense of Bakhmut."

The head of the Foreign Ministry reminded once again that Ukraine's Western allies are not sufficiently prompt in providing military support, because they were not ready for a war on the scale of the First World War:

"Kiev wants its allies to take faster steps.

"Ukraine needs artillery shells from the West to send them first to the army units in Bakhmut."
