Turkey will no longer service Airbus and Boeing aircraft used by Russian and Belarusian companies.
The relevant decision was made in the Turkish Ministry of Customs and Trade.
This was reported by AirportHaber.
Thus, the restrictions, which concern in particular the refueling of aircraft, were introduced for the companies Aeroflot, AZUR Air, Pegas Fly, S7 Airlines, Utair, Yamal and Russia.
Maintenance services in Turkey have been suspended for vessels that are at least a quarter made of US-made parts, as well as for private, cargo, commercial and charter aircraft.
From now on, Russian planes will have to stop for refueling in Sochi.
We previously reported that Turkey is discussing the possibility of "opening" the Bosphorus to the US military so that they can take away the American MQ-9 Reaper drone shot down by the Russian air force.
Ankara advocates a "reasonable solution" to the incident with the American drone.
