Several countries of the European Union want to specify the initiative regarding the purchase and transfer of projectiles to Ukraine to counter Russian aggression.

By the end of this year, it is planned to transfer one million shells to the needs of the Armed Forces.

The message indicates that this is mentioned in the draft conclusions of the summit of the European Union, which is to be held on March 23-24.

The initiative to transfer one million shells to Ukraine has already been supported by Finland, the Baltic states, Poland and Romania.

In addition, the draft document emphasizes the need to immediately begin supplying ammunition to the Ukrainian military, including through joint procurement.

The publication reports that the text of the document has not yet been finally approved and may change before the start of the EU summit.
