Serhii Shkarlet may resign from the post of Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine.

People's deputy from "Golos" Inna Sovsun, UP, with reference to their own sources and RBC-Ukraine, reported this.

According to UP, Scarlett's resignation was confirmed by the Cabinet of Ministers, the President's Office and the Verkhovna Rada.

It is noted that the director of the Small Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Oksen Lisovoy, or the dean of the Faculty of Primary Education and Philology of the Khmelnytskyi Humanities and Pedagogical Academy, Inna Yashchuk, are likely to be considered for the position.

UP reports that Yulia Hryshina, deputy from "Servant of the People", is also among the candidates.

Currently, there is no official confirmation, in particular, from Scarlet himself.
