Bhopal:

In Madhya Pradesh, there are complaints of corruption in many places in the Mukhyamantri Kanya Vivah and Nikah Yojana, the problem is that the mass marriage program organized under the scheme in Dhar has been postponed.

This issue has also been raised many times in the assembly, but no solution is being found.

Those poor couples are facing the brunt of this, whose marriage is getting postponed.

It is claimed that the Madhya Pradesh government has so far provided benefits to more than 5,33,000 beneficiaries under the Mukhyamantri Kanya Vivah Yojana and 55,000 beneficiaries under the Mukhyamantri Nikah Yojana.

The government has claimed to have spent Rs 1,283 crore on the scheme so far.

However, the ground reality is something else.

The marriage of Ravindra Singh, who lives in Dahi of Dhar district, was postponed three times.

Turmeric ceremony took place outside the house, the bride could not come to the pavilion just after the house was decorated.

Not only this happened with 314 couples in curd.

The punishment pavilion remained empty.

In this regard, the beneficiary Ravindra Singh said that the marriage was canceled for the third time.

First on 9th February, then on 25th and now on 15th March as well.

I am mentally and financially troubled by this happening again and again.

It is difficult to transport people thrice.

On the other hand, Jila Bai, the mother of the groom, said that now people jokingly say that get married at home, the government will not do it.

Here, in Manpur of Umaria district, cabinet minister Meena Singh herself caught substandard jewelery in the mass marriage scheme.

He announced from the stage that Rs. 12950 worth of jewelery will be given to the beneficiaries.

The amount will be received through cheque, which has not been received till date.

Regarding this whole mess, the cabinet colleague raised the matter from the dais.

At the same time, Congress in the assembly, but the minister of the department says that he has not received any report.

Former minister and Congress leader Vijayalakshmi Sadhau said that Crown's TV box was there but the TV belonged to someone else.

Sewing machine broke when punched.

Small spoons, glasses to feed the children, there was no bed.

Not even a wardrobe.

Poor families had brought loading trucks.

His minister is also talking about disturbances, then what is left.

Prem Singh Patel said that nothing came in front of me, if it comes, we will suspend the culprits after conducting an inquiry.

Meena Singh's talk is different and mine is different.

If the matter comes to the fore, we will take action and also suspend the culprit.

It is worth mentioning that when marriages were banned during the Corona period, the officials in Sironj Janpad Panchayat of Vidisha district in Madhya Pradesh got more than 5000 marriages done under the Mukhya Mantri Kanya Vivah and Nikah Yojana, claiming to have distributed more than Rs 30 crore.

It is another matter that leave alone the elders who were married on paper, even brothers and sisters and children were married.

In the investigation, it was found that there is a network of touts in every village.

Let us tell you that Rs 55,000 is given under the Chief Minister Kanya Vivah Yojana.

On the day of mass marriage, gift material worth Rs.38000, account payee check of Rs.11000 to the bride and Rs.6000/- to the body organizing the mass marriage.
