Receiving a summons during mobilization does not mean that a conscript will join the ranks of the Armed Forces.

This was reported by the deputy head of the Kyiv Territorial Center for Manpower and Social Support - the head of the manpower sector, Colonel Oleksandr Konovalov, in a comment to ArmyInform.

"Citizens are summoned to verify their credentials, undergo a medical examination, and conduct a professional and psychological screening.

After the citizen passes all these measures and is recognized as suitable according to all the criteria, then he is given a summons to be sent to the army," he explained.

According to him, if the conscript is unfit for service due to his health condition or he has the right to postpone the draft, then the subpoena will only mean clarification of data or provision of certain documents.

Oleksandr Konovalov added that there are two types of subpoenas: for clarification of military registration data and combat subpoena (for sending to the troops as part of a team).

At the same time, those mobilized who did not complete military service are first sent to training centers.

The training of private and non-commissioned officers takes place in shorter terms, but without reducing the quality of training.

We would like to remind you that general mobilization is ongoing in Ukraine, and conscripts are constantly being called up for military service.

At the same time, some mobilized have the right to serve at their place of residence.
