In Lviv, a man took revenge on his ex-girlfriend because of a divorce: he smashed her apartment. 

This is reported by the patrol police of the Lviv region. 

The incident took place in the Shevchenkiv district of Lviv on March 16.

The intruder broke the door of the premises and got to the apartment where his ex-girlfriend lived.

He destroyed everything in his path, turning the residence into "ruins". 

When the patrol officers arrived at the scene, they noticed a stranger with an injured hand.

The 35-year-old resident of Lviv could not explain what had happened, which is why the police detained him.

Later, the man admitted that he smashed up his ex-girlfriend's apartment.

The victim wrote a statement against him.

The investigation is ongoing. 

It will be recalled that the Sambir city and district court of the Lviv region sentenced a 36-year-old woman who killed an acquaintance to 9 years of imprisonment.
