Australian Joey Zane got too close to a snake while walking through Behan Gorge in Cairns.

A man came across a python in a tree.

He immediately took out his camera and started filming the giant snake.

In the clip, which appeared online, Joey says, "A beautiful snake is just above Behana."

However, in a moment the animal rushed at Joey and bit him on the face.

The video shows Zayn holding a T-shirt to his bloodied face.

"I feel good. It's just crazy how much blood there is," he commented.

Zane's post attracted a lot of attention on the Internet.
