Ukrainian and American representatives of state authorities held an online meeting.

The parties discussed the further provision of the necessary assistance, in particular equipment, weapons and ammunition for the Armed Forces.

This was reported by the press service of the Office of the President of Ukraine.  

The Ukrainians informed the allies about the current situation at the front, combat operations in the most difficult directions, as well as about the urgent needs of the army.

They thanked the authorities and people of the USA for their comprehensive and powerful support in the struggle for freedom and the return of peace to Europe.

Ukraine was represented at the meeting by: Head of the Office of the President Andrii Yermak and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhnyi, Minister of Defense Oleksiy Reznikov and his first deputy Oleksandr Pavlyuk, Commander of the Ground Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Commander of the Khortytsia Operational-Strategic Group Oleksandr Syrskyi, Commander of the Operational-Strategic Group "Tavria" Oleksandr Tarnavskyi, commander of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Mykola Oleschuk and deputy head of the President's Office Roman Mashovets.

At the end, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi joined the conversation. 

The US was represented by: National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan, Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley.

It will be recalled that Washington recently announced a new package of security assistance for Ukraine.

It should be announced in the coming days.
