A powerful Russian spy network was exposed in Poland.

Nine agents who collected data for Russia, prepared sabotage on the territory of Poland and engaged in propaganda were detained.

The spies were most interested in data related to the supply of Western weapons to Ukraine, TSN reports.

Nine Russian spies were exposed by Poland's internal security agency.

Detained foreigners are from the eastern border, but probably the spy network was wider and there may be even more agents detained.

Suspects of espionage conducted intelligence activities against Poland and prepared sabotage on behalf of Russian intelligence.

Agents are known to have installed dozens of hidden cameras on major highways, near railway tracks, as well as the airport in Rzeszów, which is the main transit point for the supply of Western weapons and ammunition to Ukraine.

Cameras recorded traffic and transmitted images to the network.

"This group monitored the railway tracks.

Her task, among other things, was to monitor, recognize and document transports with weapons intended for Ukraine.

The suspects were also preparing for sabotage actions aimed at paralyzing the delivery of equipment, supplies and aid to Ukraine.

Internal Security Agency employees seized cameras, electronic equipment, GPS transmitters,

In addition, Russian spies had the task of destabilizing Polish-Ukrainian relations and inciting hostility in Poland towards NATO countries and the government's policy towards Ukraine.

Polish law enforcement officers have evidence that the suspects regularly received rewards from the Russian special services.

Polish Defense Minister Mariusz Blaszczak said that the activity of Kremlin spies was a real threat to Poland's critical infrastructure.

Because of the espionage scandal, the country's security forces have been put on high alert.

The protection of important objects of critical infrastructure was also strengthened.

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, this is not the first case of detection of Russian agents on the territory of Poland, but the disclosure of this network is the most massive arrest of suspected espionage for Russia in the last year.
