will be evicted from the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra without the use of physical force.

This was stated by Oleksiy Danilov, Secretary of the National Security Council, in an interview

with Radio Liberty

He noted that Ukraine will not become like the Russian Federation, therefore it will not act by force to evict the monks from the Lavra.

"But we will definitely carry out what belongs to us, taking into account the normative and legal acts that exist in our territory," he promised.

The Secretary of the National Security Council also stated that there are many employees of the Russian FSB among the representatives of the Moscow Patriarchate.

In addition, Danilov added that the Ukrainian authorities do not oppose the church as such.

"We are not against the church. We are not against those people who are related to certain religious processes. But we are against the influence of these things on the state. You do not have the right to dictate to the state, you do not have the right to hold the state hostage," he said. Danilov.
