Malabar Hill police station official said that Anishka claimed that she is a designer and designs clothes, jewelery and shoes.

He had requested Deputy Chief Minister Fadnavis's wife to wear them in public events, to help promote his products.

The officer said Aniksha allegedly told Amrita that her mother had died and she was taking care of her family.

The officer said that after gaining Amrita's trust, Aniksha offered to give information about some bookies, claiming that she could earn money from it.

The officer said that after this he directly offered Rs one crore to Amrita to save her father in a police case.

The officer said Amrita told the police that she was upset with Anishka's behavior and blocked her number.

The woman then allegedly sent video clips, voice messages and several text messages to Amrita from an unknown number.

Citing the FIR, the officer said that Anishka and her father indirectly threatened Amrita and hatched a conspiracy against her.

The city police have registered an FIR against Anishka and her father under section 120-B of the Indian Penal Code and sections of the Prevention of Corruption Act.
