Argentinian model Zaira Nara, sister of Wanda Nara, has performed an extremely noble feat after she managed to dissuade a stranger from committing suicide by jumping off a bridge.

The incident is from the night of Tuesday to Wednesday, when Nara was driving her car in the company of her friend.

When they were on the bridge in the outskirts of Buenos Aires, she noticed that a man had jumped over the guardrails and was considering jumping.

In one of the local editions, 34-year-old Nara said that the man immediately recognized her.

"I thought if he saw me, I could take his focus away from his intention to jump," the model shared.

At first, it is her friend who takes the initiative, telling the man that if he jumps, he will only hurt himself, but not die.

At that moment he looked towards them and his eyes fell on the model.

“You are Zaira Nara!” exclaimed the stranger, whose name was Gonzalo.

I asked him to talk but to move from there.

However, he refused and once again threatened to jump.

He explained to me that he was in debt and saw no point in living any longer.

I asked him to talk again.

Then I told him the same as my friend - that if he jumps, he will end up in hospital, and he will not have committed suicide, Zaira Nara told about the incident.

After a few more attempts on her part, the man finally seemed to agree that jumping wouldn't accomplish anything.

With some hesitation, Gonzalo abandons his suicidal idea and returns to the safe side of the bridge.

Zaira Nara herself commented that for the first time in her life she came across such a situation where someone wanted to take her own life.

"He told me that he has a lot of debts that he can't pay because he's unemployed," Nara said.
