The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Rishi Sunak, spoke today by phone with the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenksy.



According to APA's British bureau, President Zelensky informed Rishi Sunak about the latest situation in Bakhmut and the leaders discussed the defense of the city by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.



Rishi Sunak noted the recent discussions with his French, American and Australian counterparts and said that the United Kingdom continues to work closely with its allies to ensure that Ukraine receives the necessary defense equipment.



Discussing the ongoing training of the Ukrainian forces in the United Kingdom, the Prime Minister said that the marines are training today.

Both leaders agreed that the addition of French forces to this training program would help Ukraine gain an additional advantage on the battlefield.
