Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda believes that China supports Russia in the war against Ukraine and wants to make this confrontation "even bloodier."

He said this in an interview with Euronews.

"Unfortunately, I see the goal of China in the continuation of this war, in making this war even bloodier and in such a situation, China supports Russia in a hidden or open form," Nauseda believes.

The President of Lithuania emphasized that he does not see China as a mediator in the negotiations between Russia and Ukraine, as this state has not yet decided on its role and what it wants.

It will be recalled that earlier China proposed its "peace plan" to end Russia's war against Ukraine.

However, the USA and the EU were skeptical about this, noting that it is more beneficial to the aggressor Russia.
