[Reporter Lin Xinhan/New Taipei Report] Former city councilor Li Kuncheng, who is seeking the nomination of the DPP’s New Taipei City Legislative District 3rd constituency (Sanchong 103 Li), announced today that he has obtained the joint signature of 100 district chiefs. The blessing and support of the head of the village reflect the public opinion and continue to move forward, making the future of Sanchong better and better.

Li Kuncheng announced in March last year that he would not be re-elected as a city councilor, and was actively preparing for the three-tier district legislator, which just echoed the "good faith withdrawal" passed by the DPP. As far as the issue of "running away" is concerned, the seats of the six councilors in Sanchong and Luzhou District will not be reduced if they are elected as legislators in the future. This will be the most helpful for the future local construction of Sanchong.

Li Kuncheng pointed out that among the 103 district chiefs in the triple legislature constituency, 100 district chiefs have co-signed to support his candidacy as a legislator. With the blessing and support of the head of the village, I will register for the DPP's Sanchong District Legislative Primary Election next week.

Li Kuncheng said that in the past 12 years as a councilor of New Taipei City, he has deeply cultivated Sanchong and Luzhou areas, and interacted well with grassroots village chiefs. He will conduct surveys to solve problems and strive for local construction. The district chiefs will still notify him to participate in various activities, so that he has more opportunities to interact with the villagers.
