Mumbai:

In Maharashtra, two people have been reported to have died due to suspected influenza.

Of these, a 74-year-old man is suspected to have died of subtype H3N2 virus.

It is being told about the second that he was infected with Kovid-19 as well as influenza virus.

State Health Minister Tanaji Sawant gave this information in the assembly on Wednesday.

He said that with the arrival of 361 cases of influenza infection in the state, the health staff of the state has been put on alert.

Further guidelines will be issued in the next two days.

Minister Tanaji Sawant has also advised people to use masks in crowded places and maintain social distancing.

If the outbreak of Kovid subsides, serious symptoms of common diseases are also visible in the weak body of the people.

The subtype 'H3N2' of the flu virus 'Influenza' is showing rapid growth in Maharashtra including Mumbai.

There have been two possible deaths in the state.

Many children in Mumbai are on ventilator.

An innocent baby of two months is battling with Influenza and Adenovirus.

The disease has reached the brain and his condition is serious.

Somehow his father mustered up courage.

The child's father Sumit Wadekar said, "He is the first child, just praying that he survives."

Courage has to be shown somehow.

Renowned Pediatrician Dr. Irfan Ali of Mumbai is doing long duty of about 17 hours.

They are treating such children from BMC to three big private hospitals.

They say that even a minor flu-like illness is taking a toll on the lungs damaged by Covid.

Dr. Irfan Ali said, "Children's ventilators are full almost everywhere.

Critical children are coming here after being referred.

Every day only 30 such patients come to the OPD of KJ Somaiya Hospital.

Of these, 10 are in need of ICU or ventilator.

Children who have had lung disease before or have not taken the flu vaccine, are showing more effect on them.

Most of the children are coming with symptoms of influenza.

There are three subtypes of influenza illness, influenza A H1N1 virus, influenza B Victoria virus

and H3N2.

Most of the H3N2 virus is being found in the sample.

People of all ages are affected by this.

So far 352 patients suffering from this have been found in Maharashtra.

Two possible deaths have occurred in Ahmednagar and Nagpur.

The report of his sample is awaited.

Maharashtra Health Minister Tanaji Sawant said, "The death of two people is being told.

Blood sample report will come in 24 hours, then the cause of death can be told in a definite manner.

So far 352 patients of H3N2 virus have arrived.

His treatment is going on and hospitals have been asked to remain alert.

H3N2 is not fatal, can be cured with treatment.

No one needs to panic.

Dr. Sunu Udani, Medical Director of NH SRCC Children's Hospital, said, "We are witnessing the outbreak of H3N2 for the last two months.

Rich and poor, this disease is spreading in every class.

Children stayed at home during Kovid, exposure to outside was less.

That could be the reason that immunity has decreased in children.

This virus changes its form every six months.

70 percent of blood samples are being told of H3N2 virus.

Its cases are common every year from January to March, but this year its effect is more visible on those people whose lungs and health have been weakened by diseases like Kovid.
