Over 50 students and their teachers who were on their way to the examination center to appear for Class 10 state board exams were stung by bees and injured in Odisha's Keonjhar district on Monday.

The officers provided this information.

Officials said that four students and two teachers had to be taken to the hospital after the incident.

He told that the incident took place when the students and teachers were going to their examination center for the ongoing board examination at Harichandanpur Girls High School.

A teacher said that despite being in pain, the injured students appeared for the exam.

Officials said that those taken to the hospital were discharged after first aid.
