In Kyiv, a strong wind caused disaster: trees fell and there were problems with lighting.

This is reported by the people of Kyiv on the Web.

In a comment to TSN.ua, the KMDA reported that the light may disappear not because of the wind, but because of stabilization outages. 

The Department of Municipal Security of the KMDA does not yet have information about victims of the wind and fallen trees.

There they only note that they warned the people of Kyiv about strong gusts of wind.

Kyivans complain about trees blown down by the wind

Locals on social networks complain about fallen trees due to strong winds.

People reported that the wind made an unpleasant surprise in their yard on Bolbochana Street, 4 today.

A big tree just fell in the yard.

On Polovetskyi Street, a tree fell right on the roadway.

No one was injured as a result of the falling tree.

The tree that fell due to a strong gust of wind on Polovetskyi Street has already been removed from the roadway.

"Employees of the KP UZN of the Shevchenkiv district have already cut down and removed the tree," Kyivzelenbud KO informed us.

The "Kyivzelenbud" communal association informed the TSN.ua website that they have not received any complaints about fallen trees caused by strong winds.

"Our emergency control room did not receive such messages. It is possible that the trees were damaged in the residential areas, and its balance holder - ZHEK or condominiums - should react there. It is also possible that the trees fell due to strong wind near the enterprises. Then the KARS - Kyiv emergency department is called to the scene of the fall - the rescue service or rescuers of the Kyiv State Emergency Service", - we were told in the "Kyivzelenbud" KO.

Kiyanka Valentyna writes that the light has been flashing in their Akademmistechko neighborhood for two hours.

A woman is worried about electrical appliances not burning.

A contributor from Troeshchyna reports that the lights have completely disappeared on Zakrevskogo Street.

At the same time, Desnyan district is not on the lists from DTEK.

On the website of DTEK, it is noted that there are outages in part of the Holosiivskyi, Sviatoshynskyi, Shevchenkivskyi and Solomyanskyi districts, according to the stabilization schedules (schedule of hourly outages). 

Warning from the Ukrhydrometeorological center

By the end of the day on March 14, wind gusts of 15-20 m/s are expected in Kyiv.

The Ukrhydrometeorological center warned about this. 

During strong winds, it is necessary to stay away from billboards, power lines, trees, and also do not park vehicles near them.

If a tree has fallen or branches have broken, you should call the emergency dispatch service of the "Kyivzelenbud" cooperative: 0442724018.

In case of injury to people, you should immediately inform the emergency services: 101 or 103.
