The governor of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, commented on the explosions in the Russian region that occurred on the evening of Tuesday, March 14.

According to him, anti-aircraft defense shot down three rockets over the Belgorod district, and one of the fragments allegedly fell into the residential sector of Belgorod. 

Gladkov announced this on his Telegram channel. 

"Over Belgorod and the Belgorod district, an air defense system shot down 3 missiles. The consequences are being clarified. One of the fragments fell into a residential sector in the city of Belgorod. There is damage. All operational services and the mayor of the city Valentyn Demidov went to the scene. Damage from the debris was also recorded in several households in Belgorod district," the governor noted. 

We will remind, in the Russian Belgorod on the evening of March 14, loud explosions were heard near the local airport.

were also explosions during rocket launches

One of them "self-destructed" near the launch site.
