The budget session of the Parliament started on 31 January.

New Delhi:

The second phase of the budget session is starting from today i.e. March 13, which will run till April 6.

Opposition parties will also hold a meeting on Monday morning to chalk out a strategy for the second phase of the budget session of Parliament.

In the second phase of the session, the opposition will try to corner the government on some other issues including the alleged misuse of central agencies.

Sources said the opposition parties are expected to meet at the office of Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge in the Parliament House complex at around 10 am.

He told that after this the MPs would attend a meeting at the Congress Parliamentary Party office where the party's strategy would be discussed.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is continuously attacking Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in the UK for his statements.

There is a possibility of a war of words between the Congress and the BJP on this matter during the session.

Issues like alleged misuse of central agencies, border standoff with China, inflation, unemployment can be raised by the opposition parties during the session.
