9,492 motor vehicles were checked within the framework of the ordered specialized police operation for compliance with the Law on Road Traffic, reports the press center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

11,946 drivers and passengers were checked.

2,400 slips and 712 acts were drawn up for established administrative violations.

Emphasis in the action is the prohibition of driving by drivers who have consumed alcohol, narcotic substances and/or their analogues, as well as driving of motor vehicles by unlicensed drivers.

Within the past day, a total of 26 drivers were found to have gotten behind the wheel after consuming alcohol - 11 of them drove after consuming alcohol from 0.5 to 1.2 per thousand, 15 - with more than 1.2 per 1000, and five refused to be tested.

14 people were found to be driving under the influence of narcotic substances or their analogues, and four refused to be tested.

3213 motor vehicles and 3695 drivers and passengers were checked from the aggregated data using the "linear control" method;

for detected violations, 656 slips and 225 AUAN were drawn up.

Four drivers were found to have driven after consuming alcohol from 0.5 to 1.2 per thousand, and two - with more than 1.2 per thousand.

Five people sat behind the wheel under the influence of narcotic substances or their analogues.
