Princess Iman of Jordan married her husband Jameel on Sunday in the presence of King Abdullah II.

[Instant News/Comprehensive Report] The eldest daughter of King Abdullah II of Jordan and Queen Rania of Jordan married a financier from a prominent Greek family on Sunday (12th), the royal family of the Gulf countries Many members attended the ceremony.

According to a Reuters report, the wedding of 26-year-old Princess Iman and 28-year-old groom Jameel Alexander Thermiotis on Sunday was publicly broadcast live on Jordanian state television (JRTV).

The two signed the marriage document under the witness of King Abdullah II, and each recited a passage from the Qur'an, promising each other a lifetime.

At the wedding, Princess Iman was seen wearing a lace-embellished white dress and a simple and elegant diamond tiara. Accompanied by her elder brother, Crown Prince Hussein of Jordan, Princess Iman walked through the palace garden and received blessings from everyone.

The groom, Jamil, was born in Caracus, the capital of Venezuela, from a prominent Greek family and worked in New York's financial circles.

The pair announced their engagement last summer, but the wedding wasn't confirmed until last week.

Queen Rania of Jordan, who was born as a refugee and known as "Arabian Diana", also gave her daughter a warm blessing on the social platform, "Congratulations to my dearest Iman, since the day you were born, you have continued to bring us Happiness, love and laughter; looking forward to the same great chapters you and Jameel will write together in the future!".

Abdullah II's eldest son, Crown Prince Hussein, is expected to marry Rajwa Al Saif, the daughter of an Arab billionaire, on June 1.

The King of Jordan has been full of happy events and excitement recently.
