The property of the Ground Space Infrastructure Operation Center belonging to the Russian Federal Space Agency ("Roscosmos"), which is the main operator of cosmodromes in Kazakhstan, has been seized.

APA informs that this was reported by "KZ24".

The reason for the arrest was the 13.5 billion tenge (2 billion rubles) debt of "Roscosmos" to the local "Bayterek" enterprise.

The debt arose as a result of the work carried out in the direction of assessing the impact of the Soyuz-5 rocket on the environment.

For this reason, the Center has banned the removal of assets from the country, and its head has been banned from leaving the republic until the investigation is completed.
