99 contractors, 149 building supervisors, 13 building owners, and 279 suspected persons who made changes in 18 buildings were arrested in the investigations conducted in Kahramanmaraş center in Turkey regarding the buildings that collapsed in the earthquakes or where changes contrary to construction regulations were detected.

According to the obtained information, the responsibility of 1171 suspects was determined in the investigations initiated by the General Prosecutor's Offices regarding the buildings that collapsed as a result of the Kahramanmaraş earthquake on February 6 or were found to have violated the law.

Within the framework of the investigations, 370 suspects, 77 of whom were contractors, 217 of whom were responsible for the building, 45 of whom were the owners of the buildings, and 31 of whom made changes to the building, were subject to judicial supervision.

In addition, searches were announced for 250 suspects, and pretrial detention measures were chosen for 95 people.

During the investigation, 22 suspects were found to be abroad, and 103 suspects were released after taking their statements.
