Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said on Saturday that the state government has imposed a moral ban on drinking alcohol in the new excise policy.

Apart from this, he said that there is no dearth of money for public welfare and development works.

Chouhan participated in his felicitation ceremony at Ravindra Bhavan here for bringing 'excise policy according to the respect, security and interests of the mother power' of the state.

During this, he said, "Drinking in public places has been banned.

This is a big step in terms of preventing accidents and improving society.

He said that it is a big responsibility of the people's representatives along with the administration to follow the policy.
