According to Fursa, Beijing does not yet need the annexation of any Russian territories, because the entire Russian Federation has essentially become a raw material appendage for China.

"On the one hand, China has received the Russian Federation as a raw material appendage now, and China likes it. Lots of resources, a big country. On the other hand, China is in permanent confrontation with the collective West, it needs an ally. The ally is Russia," he explained. he.

According to the expert, it is beneficial for Beijing to end the war as soon as possible so that Putin does not lead Russia to disaster.

Earlier, political scientist Volodymyr Fesenko suggested that Beijing could take advantage of Russia's weakening and take "everything it needs".

Oleksandr Zelenko, a former intelligence officer of the KGB of the USSR, suggested that the Russian Federation's war against Ukraine is part of China's global plan.
