[Central News Agency] In the face of China's aggressive ambitions, U.S. Senators Blackburn, Scott and Rubio jointly proposed the "Taiwan Democratic Defense Arms-Lease Act", which authorizes the U.S. government to lease weapons to Taiwan when necessary to strengthen Taiwan's defense capabilities.

Rep. Park Eun-joo also introduced the bill simultaneously in the House of Representatives.

Marsha Blackburn, who visited Taiwan in August last year, pointed out that Taiwan is the most important partner of the United States in the Indo-Pacific region. Facing the challenges of the new axis of evil, it is crucial for Taiwan to continue to maintain its sovereignty.

Communist China has made it clear that it will do whatever it takes to become a global hegemon, and the Taiwan Democracy Defense Lend-Lease Act will help ensure Taiwan's ability to defend itself and reinforce America's commitment to global freedom.

Blackburn, Rick Scott, and Marco Rubio introduced the "Taiwan Democratic Defense Arms-Lease Act" in the Senate yesterday, while Park Yinzhu (Michelle Steel) simultaneously proposed it in the House of Representatives.

Scott said that Taiwan must have the ability to resist the invasion of Communist China.

The courageous people of Taiwan are a shining example of democracy in the Indo-Pacific region, in stark contrast to the authoritarian regime of Chinese President Xi Jinping, who committed serious human rights abuses.

The bill to strengthen Taiwan's capabilities shows a refusal to bow to Mr. Xi's provocations.

Park Eun-joo also said that the CCP is the biggest threat to global stability and the national security of the United States.

As China continues to threaten Taiwan and openly challenge the United States, now more than ever it is imperative to take immediate and decisive action to deter China from further provocations against U.S. allies.

This bill will send a clear and unmistakable message to China that the United States stands with its allies and stands ready to arm Taiwan with the tools it needs to defend against Chinese attack.

The Taiwan Democracy Defense Arms Lend-Lease Act aims to strengthen Taiwan's defense capabilities and protect Taiwanese and American citizens living in it from potential aggression by the Chinese People's Liberation Army.

The bill would authorize the U.S. executive branch to lend or lease defense items to Taipei, establishing an expedited process to ensure prompt delivery of weapons to Taiwan.
