New Delhi:

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has said in a statement today that the value of land acquired by Lalu Yadav's family in the land case allegedly in lieu of job during his tenure as Railway Minister is currently around Rs 200 crore.

The central agency has also released a long list of other properties accusing Lalu Prasad's family of corruption and said that this property was also acquired by the Yadav family through that scam.

The ED said in a statement that the PMLA probe conducted so far revealed that the family of the then railway minister Lalu Prasad Yadav had illegally acquired a number of lands at prime locations in Patna and other areas in lieu of getting them jobs in the railways. I went.

It has been said by the ED that the current market value of these land parcels is more than Rs 200 crore.

In this regard, several benamidars, shell entities and beneficial owners of these lands have also been identified. 

Significantly, Tejashwi Yadav was summoned by the CBI to its Delhi office today i.e. on Saturday in the land-for-job scam.

In this case, Lalu Yadav and his entire family are under investigation by the CBI.

Earlier on February 4, Tejashwi Yadav was called by the CBI for investigation, but he did not reach Delhi citing the running of the assembly session.

This time, Tejashwi Yadav has written a letter to the CBI, citing his wife's health, demanding postponement of the summons.

Let us inform that in 2006-07, a company AK Infosystem had got 6-7 lands registered.

At that time, the value of the land was shown in the registry of about 2 crores, whereas the market value was about 10 crores.

Later, Rabri Devi and Tejashwi Yadav had entered this company.

At present half of the shares of this company are held by Rabri Devi and half by Tejashwi Yadav.

So far 10 people have been identified who got jobs in Group D of Railways at that time and in return they had registered the land.

The case


pertains to the alleged giving of jobs to people in Railways in lieu of Lalu Prasad's family receiving land as a gift or selling it during his tenure as Railway Minister between 2004 and 2009.

Officials said the CBI had filed a charge sheet in the case against Prasad, his wife and former Bihar chief minister Rabri Devi and 14 others under the provisions of the Prevention of Corruption Act and criminal conspiracy.
