Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to have another important visit to Karnataka tomorrow.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will dedicate the Bengaluru-Mysore Expressway to the nation tomorrow.

Built at a cost of Rs 8480 crore, this 118 kilometer long expressway will reduce the travel time between the two cities from three hours to just 75 minutes.

PM Modi is going to Karnataka for the sixth time this year.

Assembly elections are to be held in the state in April-May.

In view of this, this visit is considered very important.

This will be PM's program


PM Modi will visit Mandya on Sunday.

Will lay the foundation stone and inaugurate several development projects in Mandya at 12 noon.

After this PM Modi will go to Dharwad.

Will visit IIT Dharwad at 3.30 pm.

Will lay the foundation stone and inaugurate various development projects at 4 pm.

Will flag off two trains between Hubli-Dharwad.

These days four Vijay Sankalp Yatras of BJP are going on in Karnataka.

They will conclude on March 25 in the form of a big public meeting.

PM Modi will once again visit Karnataka to address this public meeting.

What will happen if the Bengaluru-Mysore Expressway is built?


The project involves 6-laning of the Bengaluru-Nidaghatta-Mysore section of NH-275.

The 118 kilometer long project has been developed at a total cost of about Rs 8480 crore.

It will reduce the travel time between Bengaluru and Mysuru from about 3 hours to about 75 minutes.

It will act as a catalyst for socio-economic development in the region.

The Prime Minister will also lay the foundation stone of the Mysuru-Khushalnagar 4-lane highway.

Spread over 92 km, this project will be developed at a cost of about Rs 4130 crore.

This project will play a vital role in boosting the connectivity of Kushalnagar with Bengaluru and will help in reducing the travel time from about 5 to only 2.5 hours.

Will also dedicate the world's longest railway platform


The Prime Minister will dedicate IIT Dharwad to the nation.

The foundation stone of the institute was also laid by the Prime Minister in February 2019.

It has been developed at a cost of more than Rs 850 crore.

The institute currently offers 4-year B.Tech, 5-year BS-MS, M.Tech and Ph.D.

Prime Minister Shri Siddharudha Swamiji will also dedicate the world's longest railway platform at Hubli station to the nation.

This record has recently been recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records.

This platform, about 1507 meters long, has been built at a cost of about Rs 20 crore.

The Prime Minister will dedicate the electrification of Hospete-Hubli-Tinaighat section and upgradation of Hospete station to boost connectivity in the region.

Developed at a cost of over Rs 530 crore, the electrification project establishes seamless train operations on electric traction.

The redeveloped Hosapete station will provide convenient and modern facilities to the passengers.

It has been designed similar to the Hampi monuments.

Will lay the foundation stone of Dharwad Multi Village Water Supply Scheme


The Prime Minister will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of various projects of Hubli-Dharwad Smart City.

The total estimated cost of these projects is around Rs 520 crore.

These efforts will enhance the quality of life by creating clean, safe and functional public spaces and transform the city into the urban center of the future.

Prime Minister will also lay the foundation stone of Jaidev Hospital and Research Center.

The hospital will be developed at a cost of about Rs 250 crore.

It will provide tertiary cardiac care to the people of the area.

To further enhance the water supply in the region, the Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone of the Dharwad Bahu Gram Jalpurti Yojana, which will be developed at a cost of over Rs 1040 crore.

PM will also lay the foundation stone of Tupparihalla Flood Damage Control Project, which will be developed at a cost of about Rs 150 crore.
