Yuriy Ignat,

the spokesman of the Air Force Command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces,

again denied the information that Ukraine received the American Patriot air defense system.

Ignat howled about this on the air of the telethon, commenting on the material of the Financial Times newspaper.

"It's not there yet, I haven't seen it," Ignat stressed.

According to the representative of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, society will learn about the arrival of the Patriot air defense system to Ukraine when it shoots down a Russian plane for the first time.

By the way, the Financial Times wrote that

Ukraine received one of the two Patriot systems.

However, the missile defense system has not yet been put into operation.

In addition, the material emphasizes that several Patriot launchers from the Netherlands are also expected.

We will remind you that the other day, Polish Minister of Defense Mariusz Blaszczak said that

the first American Patriot anti-missile systems have allegedly arrived in Ukraine.

But later, the Ministry of Defense of Poland denied the statement, saying about "difficulties of translation".

At that time, the spokesman of the Air Force Command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Yuriy Ignat stated that

the Ukrainian Armed Forces had not received

 an air defense system.

According to him, Ukrainians will learn about the Patriot when the Air Force reports the first downed anti-aircraft plane.
