The decision on the bail of former Deputy CM Manish Sisodia, arrested by the CBI in connection with the alleged scam in Delhi's Excise Policy case, has been postponed to March 21.

At the same time, hearing is going on in Rouse Avenue Court on the demand of Sisodia's remand by the Enforcement Directorate.

ED has sought 10 days remand of Sisodia from the court.

ED has said that notice has been sent to 7 more people in the liquor policy case, so that they can be interrogated by sitting face to face with Sisodia.

For this we are seeking 10 days remand of Sisodia.

Court reserves order on Manish Sisodia's demand for 10 days ED remand.

Sisodia's lawyer Dayan Krishna told the court, "These days it has become a fashion that agencies take arrest as a right. It is time that the courts Take strong action against this spirit of authority."

Krishna said, "CBI is probing a predicate offence. What the ED said today is actually a CBI matter... Without the proceedings of the alleged offence, the ED cannot initiate investigation under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act." ."

AAP leader Sisodia's lawyer told that the file of Delhi Liquor Policy had also gone to the Lt. Governor, who had also approved it.

He said, "We are hopeful that the ED will interrogate the Lieutenant Governor."

ED told in its argument that although the decision of the liquor policy has been told by the Group of Ministers, but the fact is that apart from one man no one else was aware of it.

Sisodia was arrested on February 26


Manish Sisodia is under the scanner of CBI and ED in the liquor policy case.

The CBI had arrested Manish Sisodia on 26 February in connection with the alleged scam in Delhi's liquor policy.

The CBI had interrogated Sisodia for 7 days by taking him on remand.

Then he was produced in the court.

The Rouse Avenue Court had sent Sisodia to judicial custody till March 20 in Tihar Jail.

The Enforcement Directorate had also questioned Sisodia in Tihar Jail in connection with the liquor policy.

ED arrested Sisodia on Thursday after 8 hours of questioning.
