On the 10th, the official website of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of China released the list of the second batch of 40 countries that are open to outbound group travel. From March 15th, national travel agencies and online travel companies will resume the operation of Chinese citizens to go to the countries on the list. These 40 countries cover five continents, including: Nepal, Brunei, Vietnam, Mongolia, Iran, Jordan, Tanzania, Namibia, Mauritius, Zimbabwe, Uganda, Zambia, Senegal, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan , Georgia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Serbia, Croatia, France, Greece, Spain, Iceland, Albania, Italy, Denmark, Portugal, Slovenia, Vanuatu, Tonga, Samoa, Brazil , Chile, Uruguay, Panama, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Dominica, Bahamas.

The Ministry of Culture and Tourism of China stipulates that travel agencies and online travel companies are not allowed to violate the schedule or "beyond the scope of the country list" to handle outbound group tours and in-flight wine business.

On February 6, China took the lead in resuming outbound tour group business in 20 countries including Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, the Philippines, and Malaysia.

As of now, 60 countries have been opened.

South Korea and Japan have previously imposed COVID-19 epidemic prevention restrictions on people entering from mainland China, which has triggered China to retaliate and resort to reciprocal measures.

South Korea announced on the 8th that it will fully lift the epidemic prevention restrictions for people entering from mainland China from March 11; Japan will also relax the epidemic prevention measures for people entering from mainland China on March 1. At present, it only needs to submit a negative nucleic acid certificate within 72 hours of entry.

But South Korea and Japan are still not open today.

Before the epidemic in 2019, among the 10 countries with the most outbound tourists from mainland China, Japan, South Korea, Australia, the United States and Taiwan have not yet opened up.
