600 conscripts were fined for not appearing at the military commissariat during mobilization in the Kharkiv region, and this was only in the last two months.

Regional military commissar Volodymyr Arap told about this at a briefing, Suspilne reports.

He specified that those who did not come to the TCC and SP (military commissariats) were

fined from UAH 1,000 to UAH 5,000.

"But there is a category of conscripts who have already received a summons, passed a medical examination and had to arrive with things to send. If such a category does not appear, then this is already

criminal responsibility

. They can be sentenced to three or five seven years," said Arap.

He also informed that a new reserve of conscripts is

currently being formed in Kharkiv Oblast

.

The mobilized will be trained on military equipment that will arrive from abroad.

The military commissar noted that those mobilized without military experience during their service will retain their civilian specialties: driver, engineer or accountant.

Or it will be possible to master a new specialty.

"We are currently forming a large number of new units.

We receive a lot of military equipment from abroad

, which also needs to be mastered. For this, we are recruiting a certain resource," Arap said.

It will be recalled that lawyer Andrii Novak previously explained what reasons legally allow not to come to the military commissariat when the summons is in hand.

It is about the state of health, the death of relatives, care for sick relatives, a natural disaster or other emergency situation, and passing exams at universities.

However, in order for there to be no negative consequences, you will still have to appear at the military commissariat later.
