The head of the Zolochiv urban territorial community, Ihor Hrynkiv, showed terrifying footage of a rocket attack on a village in the Lviv region. 

He wrote about it on Facebook. 

A Russian rocket fell on residential buildings in the village of Velyka Vilshanytsia, Zolochiv community, Lviv region.

The video shows footage of rescuers immediately arriving at the scene and clearing the rubble. 

The footage also shows local residents helping the rescuers.

It is known that the Russian rocket destroyed two residential buildings and damaged other buildings.

In the village, 5 people who were sleeping peacefully died at the scene of the tragedy.

Rocket attack in Lviv region: what is known

On the morning of March 9, Russian terrorists attacked the Lviv region with rockets.

One of the enemy targets fell on an ordinary village in the Zolochiv district.

5 people died at the scene of the tragedy.  

Villagers said that one of the men killed by the Russians celebrated his 63rd birthday on March 8. 

The head of the Lviv OVA, Maksym Kozytskyi, said that the air defense managed to shoot down 4 missiles, but one of the Russian targets fell on an ordinary village.
