On the night of March 9, Russia launched a massive attack on Ukraine with cruise missiles.

The occupiers attacked, in particular, Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhya, and Lviv regions - they fired a total of 81 rockets.

As a result of the rocket attack, there are injured and dead, critical infrastructure objects and residential buildings are damaged.

On the night of March 9, the air alarm covered the whole of Ukraine.

First, it was reported about the launch of kamikaze attack drones, then - about the launch of enemy missiles.

The sounds of explosions could be heard, respectively, in Khmelnytsk, Zhytomyr, Zaporizhzhia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Ternopil, and Kyiv.

According to the Air Force Command, the enemy launched 81 missiles and 8 Shahed-136/131 strike UAVs.

34 Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles, "Kalibr", as well as 4 kamikaze drones were destroyed.

Consequences of the attack



three people were injured as a result of a rocket strike at night.

"Three victims are known in the Svyatoshyn district, who are receiving the necessary medical assistance. Also, as a result of the explosion, five cars were completely destroyed and another 15 were damaged," the capital police reported.

A hit to one of the capital's infrastructure facilities in the Holosiivskyi district was also recorded.

According to preliminary information, the Kinzhal missile hit the infrastructure object.

the Lviv region,

a rocket fell on private residential buildings in the Zolochiv district.

As a result of enemy fire, five people were killed.

The Dnipropetrovsk region

was bombarded with rockets, drones and heavy artillery all night long.

A 34-year-old man died in the Nikopol district, a 28-year-old girl and a 19-year-old boy were injured.

12 private houses were damaged, one farm building was destroyed and another nine were mutilated, and the power line was affected.


Kharkiv and the Kharkiv region,

the occupiers fired about 15 rockets aimed at critical infrastructure facilities.

Previously, there was a hit in a private residential building in the region.

All of Kharkiv and part of Kharkiv region were left without electricity, heating and water.

The subway has switched to work in shelter mode.
