The Polish government has officially agreed to send MiG-29 fighter jets to Ukraine as part of military assistance.

APA reports that Slovak Defense Minister Yaroslav Nad wrote about this on Facebook.

According to Nad, the approval of the decision was confirmed by his Polish counterpart at the meeting of defense ministers held in Stockholm.

"I think it's time to make a decision.

People are dying in Ukraine, we can really help them," Nad said.

Yaroslav Nad also added that the decision regarding the supply of MiG-29s to Ukraine was confirmed by Polish President Andrzej Duda in an interview with CNN.
