The men were detained last year in April 2022.

They face up to 10 years in prison.

According to the investigation, he established connections, including friendships, and used them to work for Russian military intelligence.

The second defendant, a citizen of the Russian Federation, worked for Russian intelligence under the guise of conducting cultural activities and tourism.

In addition, as prosecutors have established, this espionage activity was concentrated on military units stationed in northeastern Poland.

Before the indictments were read out, the court completely closed the proceedings.
