The countries of the European Union (EU) have agreed to speed up the supply of artillery shells to Ukraine and to buy more ammunition.

APA reports that Joseph Borrell, the high representative of the EU for foreign relations and security policy, said this during his speech at the meeting of defense ministers in Stockholm.

He also noted that due to a number of unresolved issues, EU countries have not yet determined how to move from theory to practice.

According to the plan, EU countries will receive financial support in the amount of 1 billion euros for each operation (both for sending missiles and for obtaining new ammunition) for sending missiles to Ukraine and buying new ones.
