Russian President Vladimir Putin has not yet dared to come to the front in Ukraine for several reasons, but it is possible that such a visit will take place.

This opinion was expressed by Ivan Stupak, an ex-employee of the SBU and an expert of the Ukrainian Institute of the Future, Channel 24 reports.

He explained that it is obvious that it is about security measures, because Ukraine has weapons capable of reaching the head of the Kremlin.

If Putin's doppelgänger were to suffer even at the front,

the Kremlin would have to admit that the president does have doppelgangers.

"This will be a new batch of discussions in the mass media, in particular the world media, that Putin uses doppelgangers. This will give an opportunity to throw in, they say, Putin is no longer there and only the doppelgangers remain. That is, there will be a certain doubt among the deep Russian people," explained Stupak.

He added that then the citizens of the Russian Federation may

start asking the "wrong" questions

and it will be more difficult for Putin to retain power.

According to the expert, the Russian

dictator is also very afraid of drones

.

It is for this reason that he does not use airplanes, but an armored train.

"It is not excluded that if the situation does not change closer to December, when there will be nominations for the president of Russia - and Putin will be the only one - then it is very likely that

he can appear at the front.

Provided, if everything does not change, as we are now we are planning," said the ex-employee of the SBU.

It will be recalled that the Russian President's spokesman Dmytro Peskov announced at the beginning of December 2022 about Putin's plans to "later visit Donbas", but this has not happened yet.

Let us add that in early March, the head of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation Serhiy Shoigu apparently visited the occupied territories of Ukraine.

There he "inspected" the troops of the invaders and presented them with medals.

As for Putin's doubles, according to Ukrainian intelligence, the Russian president has several of them.

And the head of the Kremlin himself is terminally ill with cancer.
